A journey between shadow and light, where time expands, fractures and sometimes disappears. From the solitude of the violin to the voice of the cello, from memory to loss, the works of Pärt, Saariaho, Ravel, Messiaen and Mahler ask what remains when time stops: memory, silence, and perhaps a form of eternity. The musicians of Orchestre Orion invite you to a meditative chamber morning.

About This Concert
For their fifth concert, the musicians of Orchestre Orion take over Studio l'Accord Parfait in the 18th arrondissement of Paris for a meditative chamber morning. The programme brings together essential voices of the 20th and 21st centuries — Arvo Pärt, Kaija Saariaho, Maurice Ravel, Olivier Messiaen and Gustav Mahler — around a shared question: what remains when time stops?
