Guillaume Villiers

Passionate about orchestral music, Guillaume began by studying the violin before turning to conducting in Jean-Michel Ferran's class. After obtaining his DEM in conducting in 2022, he continued his training at the Paris CRR with Pierre-Michel Durand. Alongside his musicology studies at the Sorbonne, he obtained his DEM in violin in 2024. Pauline Normand

Pauline Normand

Conductor

Trained as a pianist, she developed a passion for conducting, which she discovered at the Montreuil conservatoire. Fascinated by the expressive richness of this discipline, she continued her training at the Paris 13th arrondissement conservatoire, then at the CRR 93 with Alexandre Grandé. At the same time, she obtained her DEM in piano. In 2025, she began a Bachelor's degree in conducting at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.

Guillaume and Pauline founded Orchestre Orion after meeting in Jean-Michel Ferran's conducting class. Since its creation in 2023, the orchestra has presented several concerts highlighting the richness of 20th century and contemporary music. Each concert is an opportunity to discover or rediscover major works and explore new musical horizons.
